Established in the early 20th century in Gevrey-Chambertin (Côte de Nuits, Burgundy).
Now run by Loïc Dugat-Py, 13th generation of winemakers.
Recognized as one of Burgundy’s most prestigious Pinot Noir producers.
📍 Location and Terroir
Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, with plots across several Côte de Nuits appellations.
Vineyard size: about 10 hectares.
Appellations: Gevrey-Chambertin, Charmes-Chambertin, Mazis-Chambertin, Chambertin Grand Cru, plus Premiers Crus and village wines.
Very old vines, some over 90 years old.
🌱 Philosophy and Practices
Organic and biodynamic viticulture, no herbicides or chemical fertilizers.
Very low yields, manual harvests, strict grape selection.
Natural vinifications, long aging in oak barrels (often new), producing powerful, profound wines.
